American Idol Season 10 Update – Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi are out of the American Idol Season 10 judges panel. Ellen DeGeneres expressed her sentiments that she feels she was not comfortable to be an American Idol judge while Kara DioGuardi was reportedly fired by Idol management according to TMZ.

“I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on “Idol” and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be,” says Ellen DeGeneres on her official statement to American Idol management.

As for Kare DioGuardi there were no immediate source of reports on why she was fired. The only reason we have so far uncovered is that American Idol will return to the three judges format in American Idol Season 10.

The three judges which will be sitting on the judges panel for American Idol Season 10 are Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. Deadline reveals that it was JLo’s manager Benny Medina who started the negotiation with the American Idol producers.

American Idol Season 10 will surely be something to look forward too since we have new judges. With Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul out of the judges panel we will wonder who would be providing that hard hitting but truthful commentary.

Well let’s wait and see as American Idol Season 10 unfolds on January 12, 2011 on Fox. This will be the first season for which teenagers aged 15 may audition.
