In the recent news about British Airways, their cabin crews voted for strike action in a dispute over changes to staff contracts and job cuts.

Reports said that the strikes are set to begin on the 22nd day of December and will last until the 2nd day of the first month of 2010.

With more than an 80% turnout, Cabin crew voted by nine to one in favour of the strike action. This strike would lead to huge disruption for passengers over the Christmas period, the British Airways staff said.

“It goes without saying that we have taken this decision to disrupt passengers and customers over the Christmas period with a heavy heart.”, Len McCluskey, assistant general secretary of the Unite union, said in an interview.
