It’s a field of technology that everyone needs to keep up. The world of tablet PC’s has been predicted to developed in the coming years and now competition has already tighten. Almost all gadgets makers is showcasing their own version of tablet pc’s with their corresponding spectacular specs.

Now another company in the tech world will join the tablet wars. Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions provider Huawei will start to make their own in the gadget market by entering Philippines’ wide array of tablet world. They’re presenting their flagship device, the MediaPad.

“We are [currently] building our brand. So we want to transform our company that sells millions of devices to a single company to a known brand that sells a single device to a single consumer. The MediaPad is our flagship product for this,” Huawei Device Philippines Terminal Marketing Manager Emerald Dimapilis said.

MediaPad weighs only 390 grams and has a thickness of 0.4 inches. It runs in a Qualcomm dual-core 1.2GHz processor, supported by Google Android Market. It supports 1080P full HD video playback and has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and HD video recording capabilities.

“Such list of specs is already bankable,” says Chris Dy, a Filipino entrepreneur who has been looking for a decent tablet pc lately. He’s into boats for sale in Philippines business and he needs the gadget for his day to day business transactions.

Playing poker via the internet is more popular than ever before, but could the latest 3D software signal a new phase for those who play this game online? Or will or prove to be a passing novelty?
When poker was first launched online, many argued that it would never gain significant popularity. Those who were already fans of the game felt that too much of what made poker what it was would be lost when playing over the internet. Playing face to face, of course, requires players to be able to bluff in a very different way to that in which they are likely to do so online.

Initial software was also very simplistic, allowing players simply to perform the basic moves which are required for a game. Since then, many online poker companies, such as PartyPoker (ES), have made significant software updates and developments. This has offered players a far more comprehensive playing experience, despite being one which is still somewhat different from playing against live competitors.

However, it seems like online poker could be set to move even closer to the real thing. Several online poker organisations, such as PKR, now offer the ability to play poker at a 3D table, against 3D contestants. Many claim that this is the next best thing to actually playing the game live, and the innovative software has caught the eye of keen players around the world.

However, many also claim that playing poker in 3D is simply a novelty, and one which will soon wear off. Already, the movie industry is beginning to see a decline in the popularity of its 3D releases, and it is perfectly possible that 3D poker will go the same way. Many poker players are also exceptionally loyal to one particular online poker site, and are likely to be reluctant to switch. Only time will tell if 3D poker is likely to be something which will be embraced by online poker sites across the board.

Have you been very busy lately and can’t find time to have your usual casino getaway? Are you often caught in the office with the pile of paper works which seems to be endless? These things can cause you so much stress. Good thing that nowadays you don’t have to leave your office just to play your bingo, because there are now bingo sites online.

Or your favorite roulette, poker, blackjack and the famous online slot machine. If you happen to own the latest mobile phones like iPhone, BlackBerry and some other android phones, then playing in a casino is just a few clicks away. There has been several applications of the above mentioned games. In fact, for BlackBerry phone users, a blackjack mobile phone app has been the number most downloaded game. Same also with other mobile phones.

All you have to do is to download blackjack game in your phone or any other casino games when you’re stressed and everytime you want a break from you tiring work, just grab your phone and start playing it.

The good thing on these games is that most of the time you can get for free and you won’t be spending real money in your bets. You will be provided with virtual money and it’s up to you on how you will gamble it. You would also be playing it like when you are in a real casino. You also need to have stable network connection to play the game effectively. In some cases, the game can be played with real players online depending on the platform of your phone.

Finding time to release your stress can be in other forms. It may not be in a form of mobile game but whatever it may be, it is important that it would be accessible and convenient. There are people who are not techy enough to find relaxation in gadgets. It is not a hindrance after all as relaxation comes in many forms. It just so happen that we are on the generation wherein technology is on it’s peak.

Stress has been causing a lot of diseases nowadays and releasing it in as much as you can should be one of your priorities in life. Time would be your top most competitor in achieving it but nonetheless it is doable.

Here’s a gaming tip for everyone – Sniper Assassin 5 Walkthrough

Mission 1 – There are four snipers the farthest one is standing on the roof the Mid-left building. Zoom in and shoot!

Mission 2 – Kill all the snipers shooting at you. One is hiding inside, you can only see the fire burst from his rifle.

Mission 3 – Shoot the power cable, shoot the wood under wheels of truck to make it move back covering the guard. Shoot everyone from left to right.

Mission 4 – Shoot all the snipers, they can evade your shot just be patient and kill them all.

Mission 5 – Shoot all the green part of the bombs, the farthest bomb is located at the left side of the screen, Zoom in.

Mission 6 – Wreck the car, no time limit just wreck the car.

Mission 7 – Shoot all the snipers, but beware, watch Marco’s back there are 3 enemies who will try to move in and attack him from behind.

Mission 8 – Shoot the pipe head on top of the guard on standing on the roof to make him move to the right. Shoot him in the head and watch as his blood short-circuits the bullet proof window. Shoot the guy inside then shoot everybody.

Mission 9 – Depending on how good you are with this type of mission this mission will either be easy or hard for you. Just jump across the platforms, the leader will eventually reach the end of the platform where he trips and hangs on. You are now given a choice to Kill him or Save him. The next mission and ending sequence will depend on your choice here

Mission 10 – Kill: Quickly shoot the circular light bulbs to distract the guards in front. Quickly shoot them before they reach the bulbs and call for backup. Zoom in and shoot the bee’s nest on top the guard standing under the tree, wait for him to be chased off the screen. Shoot the right flower pot to make it fall and hit the guard on the right side of the door. Shoot the guard on the left as he walks and investigate his fallen comrade. Shoot the two guards walking inside the mansion, make sure they are not looking at each other.

Mission 10 – Save: Kill all the guards, till you reach the end of the sewer, to open the door find the keycard under one of the barrels on the left side. Enter the numbers to open the door.

Mission 11 – Shoot all the attacking guards, game over if the all of the policeman is killed.

Mission 12 – Shoot Mr.J 3 times, do not hit anyone else.

Mission 13 – Shoot Lee, wait for him on one side of the tree, controlling your crosshair is really hard since you are shot so following his movements will make it harder.

Congratulations, you just finished the game!

Now here’s a cheat – did you know that the ending will change depending on the choice you made, you can do another run or just enter the code “runaway”.

Evan Williams, the social-networking site’s co-founder and CEO, plans to focus on product strategy and his second-in-command, Chief Operating Officer Dick Costolo will replace him. Costolo joined the company last year to help forge search partnerships with Google, Yahoo Inc. and Microsoft Corp.

Costolo is no newbie in this field, he is the former owner of FeedBurner, the company which distributes podcasts, blogs and other Internet content. He sold his company to Google way back 2007 at the same time he joined the search giant. He is one of the early investors in Twitter.

Twitter has increased the number of its users and according to ComScore Inc. Twitter had 96 million unique visitors in August and its users has been tweeting 90 million updates each day. The real challenge now for the new CEO is how to increase greater revenue by developing its advertising strategy more. Some advertisers, such as Virgin America, have had success advertising on Twitter, but others other companies aren’t sure yet if Twitter is worth the risk.

Skype’s new chief has finally made known to everyone as he happens to be one of the top executives of Cisco. He is no other than Tony Bates. He headed up Cisco’s voice technology group and now his skills would be for Skype. He would replace Joshua Silverman, a former eBay executive who has run Skype since early 2008. Silverman would step aside to give way for Bates. It was 2005 when eBay has acquired Skype for $2.6 billion for the startup phone service. However, it has never integrated the company into its online auction business.

November of last year, Silver Lake Partners, a technology-focused private-equity firm, led a group that acquired a majority stake in Skype, valuing the company at $2.75 billion. Bates would be reigning in the time wherein Skype just recently had filed for an initial public offering in August which has reached a record $69.7 billion so far this year. But it is not yet clear when it will be able to complete the stock sale.

Having its new CEO as the year ends, Skype subscribers has been looking forward what are the new things that they could offer and this would be one of the challenges that Bates would be facing. The company has been earning though but still needs a little push. In fact, they were able to have $13 million on revenue of $406 million through the first six months of this year. Bates needs to figure out how to squeeze more profits out of the company’s 560 million registered users.

The much awaited refund that angry Verizon Wireless customers could finally reach their hands. The telecommunications company released a statement Sunday saying it would pay up to $90 million in refunds to 15 million cellphone customers who were wrongly charged for data sessions or Internet use. This could probably be the largest amount of refund that a telecommunication could give.

The problem started 3 years ago wherein customers has bee charged $1.99 every month for data services that they didn’t even use. Some were also complaining that were charged for using free demo versions of the apps in their phones. A few were also charged for accessing the Internet, even if they did so by mistakenly hitting a button and backing out of the service right away.

All these complaints has been said to be reported to the company yet according to the customers, they were just ignored. The Federal Communications Commission has been alarmed by such number of complaints and therefor had an investigation to solve the problem.

The settlement between the FCC and Verizon wireless has now reached to an alternative to the formal enforcement wherein they could enter into a consent decree, the company would neither admit nor deny the charges, but would agree to make a voluntary payment to settle the issue. The refund that the telecommunications company has been making is just one of the ways to repay for everything as FCC has ensured that this thing will not happen again. There has been rumors that FCC would making the company pay a penalty of keeping the problem this long before giving any ample actions.
