Paul Warren Pardus was ultimately shocked as the hospital’s surgeon told him about the condition of her 84-year old mother. Pardus was shocked of what he heard, he then pulled a gun and shot the doctor and then barricaded himself in his 84-year-old mother’s hospital room before killing her and himself.

Johns Hopkins Hospital identified the orthopedic surgeon as David B. Cohen. He was shot in the abdomen and collapsed Thursday afternoon outside the eighth-floor room where Pardus’ mother was being treated. He is now on recovery and is expected to survive.

Jean Davis, the mother of Pardus was being crippled by arthritis and rheumatism and had surgery last week at the world-renowned cancer hospital, but it didn’t go well, said Gibson of Remington, Va. It was unclear what sort of operation was performed.

The video also showed the lion together with a lioness inside their sanctuary at the MGM Resort in Las Vegas. Two trainers were also seen. The two lions was seen relax in the beginning and there was no hint of an impending attack. Out of nowhere the male lion suddenly stood up and attacked the trainer nearest to him.

Luckily the trainer was able to survive the said attack, that is thanks to the other trainer. The trainer attacked by the lion at MGM was treated and released from the hospital after the incident earlier this month.

“What that tells the lion is: that guy’s nervous,” said Dave Salmoni, a big cat expert on Animal Planet. Salmoni tells CNN during an interview related to the incident that lions have heightened senses that tells them the level of uneasiness of a fellow animal or even humans.

As the argument went on and the young guy keeps on saying the F word, the guy sat down but the old man was not ready to back down. The old man attacked the guy and they rolled over on the bleachers. This incident started the commotion as other people begin to take a shot at the guy.

The hostage taker took three hostages and among them are two Discovery Communications employees and a security guard. The three hostages escaped unharmed after the four-hour standoff Wednesday in Silver Spring, just outside the nation’s capital.

Police tried to negotiate with the gunman for several hours but seeing that it will not result to anything, tactical officers moved in. The necessity to take down Lee became paramount when authorities monitoring him on building security cameras saw him pull out a handgun and point it at a hostage.

The neighborhood of the small town in France with about 700 residents was shocked to find out the incident. They said that the couple were respectable members of the community and they have no idea of any of the killings.

Cottrez managed to conceal pregnancy to her husband and her daughters she was fat. Cortrrez already had two adult daughters in their late 20s and they were really shocked when they found that their mother did commit such a crime. Meanwhile, her husband denies having any knowledge of the killing incident saying that he was very surprised about the revelations.

“She was secretive, but she never judged us. She accompanied us. She supported us,” one of her daughters said.

When asked of the motive why Cottrez would kill her own child, she responded that the main reason was because she do not want to have a baby anymore. It seems that the mother find killing her own babies better than actually raising them or giving them for adoption.

The police are also investigating the scene of the crime for more information and are also conducting interviews within the neighborhood.

France had several incidents of infanticide before and it seems to be growing as the financial crisis hits the country.
