FDA Egg Recall List 2010 Expands to More Brands – More brands had been affected by the salmonella contamination which had previously affected around 380 million eggs from Wright Country Eggs company. Now, two more egg companies had been affected by the recall, Hillandale Farms and Moark LLC.
The eggs affected by the salmonella contamination and recall from Wright Country Eggs includes all those with Julian dates ranging from 136 to 225 and plant numbers 1026, 1413 and 1946. The Julian date and plant codes is visible at the end of the egg carton.
The plant number begins with the letter P and the Julian date follows the plant number as seen in the photo below:
The affected eggs from Hillandale Fams involve eggs with plant number P1860 and Julian dates ranging from 099 to 230 and plant number P1663 – Julian dates ranging from 137 to 230. The following egg brand are affected by the FDA egg recall list on Hillandale Farms:

West Creek
For Moark LLC, a company based in Fontana California and is also affected by the FDA issued recall the affected eggs include Plant number of 1156 and the Julian Date of 187. Below are the list of egg brands affected from Moark LLC:
Yucaipa Valley Large – 1 dozen
Albertsons Large – 1 dz and 18 ct
Mountain Dairy Large – 1 dozen
Farmer’s Gems Large – 1 dozen
Large Loose foodservice pack
The public is advised to be very careful when purchasing eggs and are also advised to take note of the egg brands, the plant number and the Julian dates of the eggs since this will be the basis in determining if the eggs are affected or not.
