Floyd Mayweather and his team denies Bob Arum’s allegations that they have previously agreed to a fight between him and Manny Pacquio on November 13. Their camp insists that there is no deal and no talk about the most awaited Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.
The statement came from Mayweather spokesperson Leonard Ellerbe himself after being silent regarding the issues. Mayweathed ignored the deadline set by Team Pacquiao and Bob Arum last Saturday for a last effort to set the match.
“Boxing is not on my mind these days,” says Floyd Mayweather Jr. during a television interview last Monday. It seems that he is totally uninterested of any fight between him and the pound-for-pound champion.
Regarding the allegations about a previous fight deal committing to a fight with Manny Pacquiao, Ellerbe has these fighting words to say, “Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer and myself speak to each other on a regular basis and the truth is no negotiations have ever taken place nor was there ever a deal agreed upon by Team Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao on November 13. Either Ross Greenburg or Bob Arum is not telling the truth, but history tells us who is lying.”
Well for me seems like Floyd Mayweather Jr. is really avoiding Manny Pacquio. What do you think? The fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao would really be the greatest fight of the century. To receive updates from WWNN.co.uk directly to your e-mail, you can subscribe to us for free by entering your e-mail address here and confirming your subscription by clicking the link that will be sent to your e-mail address.
