Now, Verizon Wireless, which is a joint venture of Verizon Communications, Inc. of New York and Vodafone Group PLC of Britain,  has already confirmed that it would see the Android phones, and they are planning to position in the market and target to compete with Apple Inc.’s iPhone, which is exclusive to AT&T in the United States.

Google, Inc. and Verizon Wireless said that they will make a “codevelop” an Android-based devices project that will pre-load with their applications.

Now the big partnership will result to a great full-front assault to Apple’s iPhone and it only shows that Google is so hunger to penetrate and move into markets aside from web search advertising which will help the company to generate big amount of profits. Now Google will maintain advertising space in the internet surface and now will the mobile devices.

Google and Verizon Wireless plan  now to schedule a joint press conference to offer further information about the greatest deal.

“The Android platform allows Verizon Wireless customers to experience faster and easier access to the web from any location,” said Google CEO Eric Schmidt. “Through this partnership, we hope to deliver greater innovation in the mobile space to consumers across the U.S.”
