Another winner of the Dancing With the Stars has been announced as the Season 12 of the dance competition ended. Accordingly, Pittsburgh Steelers Hines Ward won as the Dancing with the Stars 2011 winner; together with his supermodel dancing partner Kym Johnson.

His teammates cheered him on his final dance routine after beating Chelsea Kane and Kirstie Alley and their dancing partners.

“I never thought I’d be in the finals, but I owe it all to Kim. She’s an amazing teacher. I will put trophy next to my Super Bowl MVP trophy—that took a few guys to win—and this was me and Kym, and it’s a huge achievement that deserves to be up there next to that trophy.”

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson have been through a lot together from numerous hours of practice, to Kym’s trip to the hospital, and performing their various, phenomenal routines.

Meanwhile, Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy landed as first runner-up despite encountering some mishaps during the previous episodes, and earned a final score of 84 points.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, who tied with Hines Ward and Kym Johnson for the final score of 89, went on the third place. The season will return in the fall on ABC September 19th.
