Uncled Identified Body of Lorenzen Wright – A body was found in Memphis earlier yesterday and it was identified as that of NBA player Lorenzen Wright. His uncle identified the body personally and concluded that it was indeed Wright.

Lorenzen Wright had been missing for 10 days after he was last seen on July 18. Wright said that he will be flying out of town but since then he had been missing. Curtis Wright who also filed a missing person complaint already told the Associated Press and Herb Wright, Lorenzen’s father of the incident.

Lorenzen Wright, 34 played in the NBA for 13 years. He began playing in the NBA as number 7 draft pick during the 1996-1997 season for the Los Angeles Clippers. He played for the Clipper until 1999. He had also played for the Atlanta Hawks (1999-2001; 2006-08), Memphis Grizzlies (2001-06), Sacramento Kings (2007-08), and Cleveland Cavaliers (2008-09).

He has a total games of 778 games of them 447 were titular games or playoff games. Lorenzen Wright averages 8.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assist per game.

There was no immediate information regarding details of his interment. It is expected that fellow NBA players will come to visit and pay tribute to the said player.
