Miss Universe 2010 Contestants on their National Costume – Lots of happening this week as the Miss Universe 2010 results will finally be announced on Monday, August 23. Meanwhile, the 83 Miss Universe 2010 candidates recently paraded in their national costume and there were candidates which really look stunning in their national costume.

Some of the contestants which caught are eye during the Miss Universe 2010, National costume presentation were controversial Rima Fakih from the United States, Venus Raj from the Philippines, Eva Arias of Dominican Republic, Safira de Wit of Curacao, Angela Martini of Albania, and our very own Tara Vaitiere Hoyos.

Rima Fakih had been controversial since her pole dancing photos appeared on the internet and questions about her fitness to represent the United States had been raised.

Meanwhile, Venus Raj of the Philippines holds the highest popularity rating in the Miss Universe 2010 with a 3.67 rating, followed by Yendi Phillipps of Jamaica with 2.89, and Marelisa Gibson of Venezuela with 2.86.

The 2010 Miss Universe Pageant will air live on NBC and Telemundo, Monday, August 23 (9-11 p.m. ET) from Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The pageant will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.

The celebrity panel of judges for the 2010 Miss Universe are: Criss Angel, illusionist and mystifier; William Baldwin, actor, producer and writer; Sheila E, world-renowned percussionist and drummer; Tamron Hall, anchor of “MSNBC Live”; Evan Lysacek, 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2009 World Figure Skating Champion; Chazz Palminteri, Oscar nominated actor and director best known for his work in A Bronx Tale;  Chynna Phillips, American singer and actress; Jane Seymour, multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner and Niki Taylor international supermodel.
