Miami Heat Gets More Firepower – Heat owner and manager Pat Riley is stepping up the preparation for the opening of the 2010-2011 NBA season as he signed former Miami Heat player and free agent Carlos Arroyo.

Carlos Arroyo will now be playing with the most controversial and also most hated NBA free agency superstar LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh.

“Carlos showed last season that he was one of the most competitive and efficient point guards in the NBA, and we are happy to have him back,” says Miami Heat president Pat Riley.

Carlos Arroyo averages 6.1 points and 3.1 assists with a 4.17 assist-to-turnover ratio. Last season he appeared in 72 games and made 35 starts as a point guard for Miami Heat.
