The Netherlands vs Brazil match will be a memory that will be hanging around the mind of Brazil’s Felipe Melo for quite sometime. With all honesty he was the cause of the demise of his own team and the celebration of Netherlands.

Felipe Melo just returned from an injury in order to play for today’s match against Brazil. The team thought that his presence was indeed an added firepower for Brazil as he helped Robinho get the early goal in the 9th minute but that was all to it.

The fate of Felipe Melo and Brazil disintegrated when at the 53rd minuted he scored an own goal making it the first goal for Netherlands. Then on the 73rd minute he was sent off with a red card following a collision with Arjen Robben.

Here are the highlights of the stunning and thrilling finale to the World Cup 2010 campaign of Brazil.
