The game was nearing a close when the San Francisco 49ers scored a touch down courtesy of F.Gore 7 yd. run Drive: 8 plays, 82 yards in 0:53. The game is now turning out to be an exciting game as the San Francisco 49ers tied the game with just about a minute to play, 22-22.

The breath-taking finale came to an end when the New Orleans Saints scored a field goal courtesy of G.Hartley from 37 yd.(7-51, 1:19). The field goal gave the Saints the lead and their second victory for this season, 25-22.
