Paranormal Activity 2 Coming October 2010 | read this item

Paranormal Activity 2 will be released this October 2010 on theaters worldwide. This was confirmed by Paramount Pictures themselves upon the release of the first teaser trailer for the film which was released together with Twilight Eclipse.

The sequel trailer shows a dog, a baby in a crib and a lady showing at the end. It also has scened from the original Paranormal Activity film and the guerrilla marketing they have done in order to create a buzz about the film.

The production and shooting for Paranormal Activity had already began last May and it is projected to be ready for release on October 22. The sequel was written by screenwriter Michael R. Perry and will be directed by Tod “Kip” Williams.

Oren Peli, who directed the first movie, Paranormal Activity is the producer for the sequel. Peli confirmed also that a full acting cast is expected to return for the sequel.

Based on the teaser trailer for sure this will have a different story but the story telling will maintain the first person perspective. This had been the success of the first movie and the producers are banking on this one to create another hit.
