PS3 Update 3.1 Now Available – Sony had officially released the latest update for Playstation 3. The said Update 3.1 adds recommendations for games and videos on the Playstation store. The download is now available on the links that was provided to us below.

PS3 users may be a little bit hesitant and unexcited about this PS3 Update 3.1 because unlike previous updates this one does not contain any ‘hidden’ features nor enhancements on your PS3.

The basic function of PS3 Update 3.1 is simply to inform you of new titles which you can purchase. It is more like a marketing tool for Sony rather than an update a gamer would love.

Meanwhile a Playstation Portable (PSP) update will also be available for download. The PSP firmware update 6.31 contains stability enhancements.

Sony also decided to offer new features for its PS3 system which includes the five start rating system. This rating system was made available through the previous update.
