Fans of UFC 117 will not only look forward to amazing fights in the event but also to witness if Chael Sonnen could turn his harsh words into harsh a fight against the longest reigning UFC Middleweight champ Anderson Silva. He has been mocking and insulting the champ this past 4 months which has drawn a lot of attention from the fans.

Anderson Silva just kept his profile low and remained to be soft spoken. This champ has not been as famous as the other title holders since most of his fights has been covered up with much popular ones. One of which was during UFC 96 when he defended his title which was also the fight of Chuck Liddell vs. Shogun Rua. However, Silva remained to be the the current UFC Middleweight Champion as well as the promotion’s longest reigning champion. With 12 consecutive wins, Silva holds the longest active winning streak in the UFC and the record for the longest winning streak in UFC history.
