Toyota Lexus recalls another model of its car in the market.  The latest Lexus model to be recalled is the Luxuy hybrid car, 2010 HS250h sedan.  According to the tests from the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration found that fuel leaked during a rear impact crash.

Immediately after tests results came out, Mark Templin, Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager ordered the voluntary recall and stoppage to the selling of the 2010 HS250h sedan.

“We want to assure our customers that their safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. We take the NHTSA’s test results very seriously and appreciate the NHTSA bringing its concerns to our attention,” Templin said.

He however said that on similar quality testing made at their company’s facilities revealed no hint about this matter. Toyota Lexus had also stopped the delivery of the involve vehicles, “as soon as the issue is better understood and/or a remedy is developed, we will contact every owner,” Templin concluded.

Lexus recall affected customers can contact their local Lexus dealers or the Lexus Customer Satisfaction at 1-800-25LEXUS or 1-800-255-3987.
