The Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany was invaded by UFC fans due to the fight between Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami.

The UFC 122 is the second UFC event in Germany and also the second in Continental Europe. In Germany alone, there are some places wherein Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is banned to be taught to minors. The declaration of total banning of MMA for minors in Germany was announced sometime in March 2010.
