US Senate Repeals Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Policy – Lady Gaga’s meat dress may have paid the price and a victory as the US senate repealed the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Policy” with a vote of 56-43.

The Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Policy is a policy which restricts the United States military from efforts to discover or reveal closeted gay, lesbian, and bisexual service members or applicants, while barring those who are openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual from military service.

Democrats Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor from Arkansas voted ‘no’, they are not however alone as even Senator Harry Reid also voted ‘no’. Reid’s vote was a precaution in case the total will favor the Republicans and her vote will revived the voting later.

John McCain, a military service veteran said, “We do not go out and seek. Regulations are, we do not go out and seek to find out if someone’s sexual orientation.”

Reporters flocked to McCain after the conclusion of the vote and the repeal. “I’ve seen it in action. I’ve seen it in action. I have sons in the military, I know the military very well. So they’re not telling you the truth,” says McCain.
