USA vs Brazil Post World Cup 2010 Soccer Match Highlights – The US Men’s National Soccer Team fell victim to the visiting Brazilian soccer squad as the visitors defeated them 2-0, Tiuesday, August 10.

The USA vs Brazil International Friendly Soccer Match 2010 was held at the New Meadowland Stadium in New Jersey. Around 77,223 fans flocked to the stadium to watch the first ever post World Cup 2010 soccer match between the two teams.

Brazil and the USA were both eliminated during the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. During that even Spain became the World Cup champions.

The USA line-up was composed by nine players who were members of the World Cup 2010 Team. These players includes team captain Carlos Bocanegra, goalkeeper Tim Howard, midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Landon Donovan. The two players getting starts who were not in South Africa were Omar Gonzalez, who earned his first full national team cap in the center of the defense, and Alejandro Bedoya, who earned his fourth cap after getting the nod at right midfield.

The US National team was head by coach Boib Bradley who played against the new head coach of Brazil, Mano Menezes.

In contrast to the veteran team of the United States, Brazil brought a relatively new team except for four World Cup veterans like efenders Thiago Silva and Dani Alves and midfielders Robinho and Ramires.

The whole match seems to show the great need to improve the US National soccer team and also points the main reason why the US was eliminated at the World Cup 2010.

“Early on, the ball was moving quickly and we had good energy,” said U.S. head coach Bob Bradley. “The fact that we were not able to sustain that is certainly more of an indication of where the players are at this point in the year in terms of pre-seasons. ”

Here is the USA vs Brazil friendly 2010 highlights:
